Gentelbot Research and Branding
After researching topics on AI from Kurzweil's blog, I conceptualized a robot capable of holding humanlike conversations in multiple foreign languages.  I called the imagined product "Gentelbot"
Using the principles of corrigibility, whereby a person or system believes it is deficient, we can design a system that has a predisposition to learn whatever it is deficient in.
Since the AI is intended to communicate orally to an actual human being, it is best to foster a prosocial relationship between the robot and man.
This is the proposed product.  It is almost like a real-world C3P0.
Here is the brand naming diagram I used to name my product.  In the center is the product's name, while the four quadrants contain adjectives describing the brand's character.  From top left to bottom right:
a) Persona- how people see your brand.
(words: Original, Industrious, Agreeable, Efficient)
b) Language- what you want people to associate with your brand.
(words: Connective, Change, Running, Lead)
c) Tone- how people feel about your brand.
(words: Breeze, Warm, Comfort)
d) Purpose- the goals of the brand.
(words: Think, Communicate, Exchange, Discover)
Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" was my source of inspiration when finding words that would fit in the character diagram.  Of course, I took many liberties in the other words on the diagram (the words in white were the word ripped directly from the song).
This was how I came up with the original name for my product.  I combined portions of the words from my research to create the name "Gentelman."  Later on, however, I came up with the derivative "Gentelbot," which became the new name for the product.  It was also the better sounding name.
